My husband Chris and our pug-chihuahua rescue, June Bug. Our pups are our “kids” and I thought it would be so fun to go out and do some sweet photos. I found a field near our home that I thought would work, and well, I think it did!

Just like the kitties, these pups are available for adoption through Zara’s List.

Doesn’t this dog look like she is modeling? The wind was crazy but it looked good on her hair.

This sweet girl (despite the blue harness) was given up after her owner died – such a sad story and such a sweet girl. I am hoping she is adopted quickly despite her size and the stigma of the bully breeds.

I went up to Petco to photograph some pets that are currently available for adoption through Zara’s List.
Here are a few of the kitties:
Shot with the 40D, 17-55 2.8 IS, all at f/2.8, low speeds(1/60s and under), and high ISOs (1000-1600).

I realized that the third photo below might not make much sense to someone who wasn’t at the wedding.
Steve is WAY into guitars – loves them. Not more than his new wife, but it might be close.
Anyway, instead of a traditional guestbook, they opted to have 2 guitars for people to sign with sharpies. They’ll then hang the guitars on the walls of their home!
How cool is that!?
