Two dogs & two (very patient) people, Temecula Pet Portrait Photographer

Patrick & Kay run the very awesome Dogtopia facility here in Temecula. If you’ve never been, you need to check it out. It is an amazing location for doggy day care & boarding, so if you have dogs you definitely need to stop by and see what they’re about!

Anyway, we scheduled a session to get some portraits of their personal dogs (you might see some of my photos in their lobby soon!) and well… the afternoon of their session I happened to fall asleep on the couch. And I woke up to a very patient Kay calling me wondering where I was. OOPS! They were so awesome to hang out while I grabbed my camera and headed down to the studio to meet them. So they deserve a huge thank you for staying around with a smile on their face. (And really, no naps before a session every again!)

I just love this photo of them together! No leashes had to be removed in photoshop, either – that’s can become quite a feat when you are photographing more than one dog together! :)

And the whole family!

A handsome pitbull, Temecula Pet Portrait Photographer

I am so behind on blogging right now, I am trying to get all caught up! I have had some of the most awesome sessions lately & want to share them…

This is Tank, who is an absolute doll & loves to ham it up for the camera. We had so much fun photographing him in the new studio. This shows you a nice variety of natural light images that we can get there! SOOOO love this place!

An awesomely fun session, Temecula Southern California Pet Photographer

This session was not only so fun for me, but it was really quite neat too. You see, this session was for my high school best friend Jenna & her family. We met in 9th grade French class and had the best time going through three years of French and causing trouble together. :) We used to go to the boy’s water polo games together, make crepes, and laugh and laugh. After high school, like so many, we drifted apart and lost contact. Well through the amazing invention called Facebook, we reconnected & started chatting again. She asked me to do a photo session with herself, her brother TJ, her new sister in law Savannah, and their adorable puppies Dozer & Bella. I was HAPPY to oblige! We had a bunch of fun getting some awesome photos and reconnecting.

This is Bella.

And sweet Dozer.

Jenna, I looooove this photo of you. Gorgeous, girl!

The husband & wife!

Towards the end of our session Bella started playing in a puddle. Well you can’t see that and not photograph it, right? Soooo cute. I love me some water dogs!

A gorgeous mama & some awesome news, Old Town Temecula Maternity Photographer

So… first of all, I’ll share some huge news with you! Melissa Palomo Photography now has a studio in Old Town Temecula! We’re really excited about it, it’s adorable & we think our clients will love it. We’re still waiting on a few things before we invite you all down, but we are booking studio sessions! And for the months of February & March, our in studio sessions will be 50% off. Crazy deal, because we’re crazy excited!

I did two shoots there yesterday and am so excited to share them… the first one especially. Because I’m biased. :) It’s my beautiful sister, Jen, who is pregnant with her second baby, a little girl! I can’t wait to meet her. You’ll notice that the studio offers some great natural light as well as the option for studio lighting – such great variety!

And seriously I think she is one of the cutest pregnant people, ever.

My nephew, Brycen. :) So handsome, and ready to be a big brother!
